Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do I know if what I’m experiencing is anxiety?

Anxiety can show up differently for everyone. Some challenges you may be facign are: persistent worry, racing thoughts, feeling on edge, difficulty relaxing, physical symptoms like tension or a racing heart, or a tendency to avoid situations that feel overwhelming. If these experiences are interfering with your daily life or keeping you from doing things you value, it may be time to explore this in therapy.

Anxiety can develop from a combination of factors, including genetics, life experiences, stress, relationships, and learned patterns of thinking or coping. Many times, there isn’t one single cause—it’s the result of several factors coming together.

Therapy can help you understand what’s driving anxiety, recognize patterns that keep it going, and develop practical tools to respond to anxious thoughts and feelings in new ways. Over time, therapy can help you feel more grounded, confident, and in control.

Many people manage work, parenting, and social commitments while still experiencing significant anxiety. Therapy can help you understand what’s happening beneath the surface, reduce the toll anxiety takes, and develop healthier ways to cope—before it becomes more overwhelming. The real question is, do you want to feel better and in more control?
