ReProcess Therapy
About me
Hi, I’m Kellie, an EMDR and Brainspotting Therapist located in Purcellville, Virginia. I work with kids as young as 5 to adults in their 60’s and couples. My main clientele are adults dealing with mid-life transitions/crisis, chronic stress, relationship issues and questioning divorce. My work focuses on helping clients release stuck emotions, desensitizing negative beliefs and memories that keep us stuck in the same patterns; and installing positive mindsets which helps them move forward and into leading a more fulfilling, meaningful life. Clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, stuck, and anxious but leave with greater clarity, more capability, and having more trust in themselves.
This work is personal to me as someone who has spent years doubting her instincts, feeling misunderstood and that people didn’t truly see the real me. This experience shapes how I show up in my therapy office with the understanding, confidence and belief that each person deserves to feel better than they do now and flourish in life. Having done both EMDR & Brainspotting myself personally, I know first-hand the clarity and relief this works brings into your life.
I love learning about my client’s unique upbringings, adversities, successes, and everything that contributes to who they are. I revel in helping clients make connections to how their earlier experiences influence their beliefs, decision making and relationships. In our work together, I will facilitate you clearing out negative beliefs and healing your nervous system so the you can focus on what’s most important to you.

Who is a good candidate for EMDR?
It is a common misconception that EMDR is only used to treat people with PTSD or severe trauma.
EMDR can also be helpful for those experiencing anxiety, depression, fears, confidence issues, relationship issues, anger, grief, combat stress, performance anxiety, sleep issues, panic attacks, and sexual abuse; amongst others.
Whether you’ve experience complex trauma in your life, a big “T” trauma, some small “t” traumas, or just want to feel better than you do now, EMDR can help you reach your goals.
EMDR may also appeal to:
- someone who may have been to traditional therapy and didn’t quite get the results or lasting change they were hoping for.
- someone wanting to use EMDR as an adjunct to their current therapy, in order to break down more deep seeded barriers.
- someone who is not ready or able to commit to once a week therapy for several months or years.
EMDR has been proven to also be highly effective for kids and teens; who have fewer pathways to “clear”. Kellie enjoys combining EMDR with play and nature therapy in her work with kids.
When we have a clearer mind, we have a clearer path to navigate life’s challenges and discomforts. Kellie thrives on efficiency and understands the value of someone’s time. With that being said, therapy is a process and each individual has their own unique path and pace to healing.
